Will birth control pills work on guys to clear up acne?

I don’t know of anyone who wants to try this. It just popped into my head a minute ago when I was answering a question. I guess the real core question would be is there a difference between the causes of acne in men and women and what are they?

no i don’t think they would. it might cause there hormones to go out of whack. hormones are the differences
no they wont. go to the doctors and theyll prescribe him something.
There are many reasons for acne, one is oily skin, other is vitamin deficiency, another is sensitive skin, as well as many other things. And birth control pills will not clear up acne, so don’t try to do it as birth control pills have several side effects.
I don’t think so. But isn’t it cool that there is actually a drug with a GOOD side effect. It’s like if Viagra could make men lose weight.

No. The root cause for acne is the same – a hormone imbalance, but the birth control pills will introduce female hormones, causing a further imbalance, and possible illness in males.
