Why does every computer programmer I know fit the stereotype down to a tee?

I know over 100 computer programmers and I have to say every one I have met, fits the stereotype it is almost comical.
Extreme High voice or extreme non-understandable strained mumbling
Beard (including women)
Ridiculously sweaty
Acne
Ridiculously excessive Blinking
Stuttering
ugly (pretty much)
Complex technical jokes
Emotionless
Homosexual (only joking)

They are sex starved.
I myself am a computer programmer – I started getting interested in computer programming when I was 14 and began learning HTML and CSS code to customize my LiveJournal (an online journal) and my Myspace. Over time, I became more interested in C++, Binary Code, Syntax, BCPL, and others.
My first job was programming computers for static free networks.
I now go to college for programming, as well.
I don’t have an extremely high voice, but it’s not deep for a girl. I don’t have a beard or any facial hair – or for the most part, visible body hair, I rarely sweat unless I’m at drill, I’ve only had acne ONE in my life, and it was only one pimple, I don’t stutter, and for the most part, I consider myself pretty decent looking.
But I’m one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Goes to show you that not all computer programmers are comically unaesthetic.

hes a computer engineer and basically he builds computers programs them ect…….he isnt like that at all
I know what you mean LOL
But I actually have a lot of cool, attractive, computer geek friends….and they are hippies! LOL
I think it depends on what kind of job they have ……all of my friends have a lot of freedom when it comes to their jobs, they travel alot….they aren’t stuck behind the same desk or cubicle all day, etc.,
but they all do love those dry, complx jokes….LOL
but thankfully my computer programmer buddies are hippies and pretty much do anything outdoorsy when they are off!
