What would cause red bumps/ acne on the tops of your hands?
I have had some bumps that come up on the back of my hands…they itch a little before they turn into a pus-filled red bump…they usually last about 2-3 days and dry up and go away and they another one will appear. This has been going off and on for the past few months. They mainly form on the back of my hands but I have had one or two apprear in my groin area and occasionally on an arm…..Any suggestions on what this may be or what kind of cream or onitment might work.? I have looked possibly at allergys but that doesn’t seem to be an issue. I have been taking Celexa for 2 years for anxiety, not sure if that might cause some of too….any help would be appreaciated….

It is from Allergies, take a Benadryl next time. My boss just went to the docs for the same thing.
i get that too and i have eczema. the doctor calls it contact dermatitis. no clue what i’m sensative too – basically everything i guess. you can put witch hazel on it to dry the bumps up or better yet go to the beach. the salty water and the sun will clear it right up.

This may be eczema (least sounds like it.) Try some 1% hyrdocortisone cream when you break out to relieve the itchiness and discomfort. Eczema is a fancy word for “inflammed/extremely dry skin” and there are treatment options such as Cetaphil lotions/soaps, Elidil cream, MYMIX cream and if all else faily, go see a Dermatologist.
