I have cystic acne that I’ve battled with for years.
My family can’t afford a dermatologist so we jsut stick with the doctor but we only go whenever I have a seirous problem or a check up.
I’ve tried soo much natural & from the drugstore & I do take care of my skin.

Cystic acne is caused by a normally-present bacterium called propionibacterium acnes, it tends to respond well to treatment with tretinoin (Retin-A), but it can take a while before you see improvements, if your cysts are moderate, not severe, you should see your doctor, who might prescribe antibiotics like tetracycline.
The chances are that you’re under 20, as this is usually puberty related, cystic acne should have reduced or disappeared completely by the time you’re 20 or so.
Google “tretinoin (Retin-A) for cystic acne” to find out more about vitamin treatments for cystic acne.
Unfortunately, if you have cystic acne, there’s very little to no chance of topical (applied to the skin) treatments working for you, the infection and damage is going on too far into the deeper layers of your skin for creams or lotions to reach, so oral (pills) treatment is probably your only treatment option, apart from light treatments, which are expensive if you don’t have access to a free health service.
Washing the skin thoroughly, and for women, removing all traces of make-up, is important. When the skin is clean and polished, a treatment can be applied. Mixing the white of an egg in a bowl, and slathering it on the skin can add moisture and softness to the skin. Be careful, however, to avoid the eyes and wash hands thoroughly after application. Leave the treatment on for a minimum of 10 minutes, then wash off with lukewarm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel. It is important to keep the skin moisturized, even for those with cystic acne, as skin that is excessively dry can produce more oil to compensate—leading to more acne.
Good luck!
