What causes acne on your head?

I’ve had acne since I was a kid. I developed cystic acne and the dermatologist prescribed me accutane…i was 18 at the time. Now, i’m 22 and i’m getting some pustules on my head (close to hairline on back of head, and near ears). I don’t know if this is a form of acne, or stress-related. Anyone have any ideas or similar issues? Any feedback will do so I don’t continue to feel like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly.

I was told that i had acne on my forehead cos I used to have a dandruff problem. Its cleared now though
It’ from the oil in your hair. This may sound weird but it works I use it every time I wash my hair it gives it a great shine, lots of body. They sell it at Walmart in the pet section… Its horse shampoo its called Horse and Mane Shampoo.
