   Multni ‘mitti’ or Ultra Clearasil may proove to be of some help. Though it gives a burning sensation it dries the soares and heels them.

   See if you can get a copy of the old book CLEAR SKIN by Flandermeyer. I used Oxy 10, washed my face nightly and in the morning shower, and used a Buff Puff or generic to lightly remove the sloughing skin caused by the Oxy 10. This program will get you there, but you have to stick to it, even though you are seeing ugly, dry, flaky skin or redness for a while, you have to stick to it.

   One piece of advice — if you use a product with benzoyl peroxide in it, it will cause the pimples to accelerate, so even though you think the stuff made your skin worse, it actually got rid of the pimple faster than if you had left it alone. AND, that stuff bleaches things as well, so use white pillowcases and hand towels when you use this stuff.

    If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
    For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
