What are some posible symptoms of coming off birth control pills?
I was on minovral 21′s for 13 years. I am 26 years old and never had any medical problems during that time. I went off in August and now, in March have not had my period yet, not even any spotting. I have been pretty miserable besides that with a bunch of weird symptoms that I had never had before including: heartburn, indigestion, bloating, pressure in my chest, night sweats, hot flashes, insomnia, and anxiety, lack of ANY sex drive, acne….
Wondering if any or all of these could be linked to me coming off those pills?
ps, have been doing regular pregnacy tests so I’m defenitly not preggers!!

they could all be related…..everyone reacts differently. i would ask a doc if you’re really worried.

All I know is that birth control pills alleviate acne and helps your complextion. If you are off the pill, you probably can expect some acne.
I always got Post-pill acne on my back. I never had any other problems. You should make a simple GYN Doctor appointment to see if it is Post pill side effects or something else that is lurking, if it continues much longer. Best of luck and get well.
you have not had your period for a veryy long time..i suggest you see a gyne soon..i was also on pill for some months but not 13 years! but i had my periods soon after..
