I always buy anything in the shops that say: “great for oily skin” or “can be used for the prevention of spots” etc. But they have never done me any good. I then went to a dermatoligist. She prescribed me tablets that didnt work, and i havent been back since.she gave me a 6month prescribtion, and i used them, and i saw a worse affect on my skin when i stopped using them.

I have tried everything. Pro-active didnt work after 4 months of use and i found it to be expensive at £120 for the 4months (£30 a month)

i’m a 14 year old girl who has kind of oily skin. i have pimples really bad on my forehead and near my eyebrows and now its starting to develop on my nose as well! also, it’s starting at my upper chest, near my neck, and my upper back as well.

i’ve used clean and clear face washes and pimple prevention products, clearasil products, regular soap and water, and astringents as well, but none of them work! i’m thinking of odering proactiv but im not sure if that is just one of those “as seen on tv” crappy products, hence, afraid to waste my money and time on something that wont work for me.

I’ve been told that adult acne is a different kind of acne than the acne kids get in high school. How do you know for sure if you have it and why is it different/why does it need a different type of treatment?

I get the acne on my face and jaw. I used completely different shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser while traveling. Other than that, I ate the same and was just as stressed out as usual.

Im a 13 year old dude with acne on my forehead, some on my cheeks, and one on my chin. How do I get rid of it b4 school starts? (School is Monday, August 24th) My sisters think its because I started using acne prevention liquids when I was 11 years old. Is that true and how do I get rid of the acne?

Ugh. Seriously. I think I need to go to a dermatologist or something… I’m 27… what am I doing wrong??!! I always have acne… whether it’s just one pimple on my chin or a few and some small ones on my forehead…and if on the rare occassion I don’t have any, I have scars!! What am I doing wrong?
What’s a quick fix to get rid of them?
