My skin has always been a nightmare since adulthood but, now that I am in my forties, I am having painful cystic breakouts. I am currently trying Retin A and have used every system I can think of. Is there actually something out there not too costly that I can do do have normal skin?

I currently suffer from acne and scarring, after visiting a local spa they recommended me to undergo ‘Ultra VPL’ treatment.
A suggestion was to do 4 treatments in the 1st week then have regular monthly treatments.
As this is quite costly I want to be sure that this is effective for acne in the long term.

I just recently ordered the E-manual and I am very interested in trying the solution, however the Acne Connection Archives seem to have been abandoned. Why is that? Is there anyone still out there who has tried the program that I can get feedback from? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I just paid $18 dollars for this on the spot acne treatment by Murad. ( I didn’t know it was going to cost that much) Anywho, I have a really bad under the skin pimple that is super red and hurts when you touch it. I have put it on twice today. The tube does not say how many times per day to use.
Has anyone ever used this?
does it work?
How many times per day can you apply it?

Specifically body acne scars. What has worked for you, if anything?
I have tried Mederma but stopped using it after a tube because I saw no improvement.
Since then I have been using Bio Oil and pure Vitamin E oil and have noticed a slight difference after two months. I have recently started doing weekly glycolic acid peels (have done 2 so far).
I am hoping to feel more comfortable wearing a swim suit in public next by next summer.

I have adult acne, sensitive skin, and a little rosacea. I have tried so many products over the years from teen years to my early 20′s and I’m at a lost of what is going to work for me as I’ve noticed my skin has changed from teen acne to adult acne. I know benzoyl peroxide makes the acne worst, I know from pro-active products. Salicylic acid doesn’t work either also tried and made my skin worst. Iam now using Philosophy line with Hydrogen peroxide for adult acne, but I’m trying to be patient, but the only results I see is that there are more aggressive break outs. I hear that Gycohlic Acid is suppose to be good for acne, but I need serious help: I have a huge event in the begining of Oct.
