I wouldn’t waste money on things like ProActiv and AcneFree.
The problem with both of those is that they contain heavy chemicals that your skin get immune to, and overtime they stop working because your skin is so used to absorbing the chemicals in them. Those products also dry out your skin which causes flaking and making your skin feel unhealthy.

I used to have terrible acne growing up(I’m now 18), I’ve tried ProActiv, AcneFree, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, all that and spent so much money just to be disappointed.

I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer, and my skin cleared up within a week and a half I noticed a difference. The good thing about these products is that they are under $ 15 for both of them combined, and they come in big portions that can last you a long time. A tube of Apricot Scrub can last you roughly around two months, and the moisturizer can last about four months.

I would take this approach first and try it out for a month to see if it improves your acne before trying something else. You can find both of these in stores like Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc.

I have oily skin as well.

Start by increasing your water intake. Water helps flush out toxins.

Don’t pop your pimples. It spreads the bacteria around.

Clean your phones with alcohol-wipes. Lot of gunk gets on the phones.

Keep your skin in balanced. If it’s flaking, your are overdrying it…common thing people do when they have acne. They overstrip the skin with cleaners and then the body makes more oil.

Get a facial from a licensed aesthetician. Easy to find them at salons, etc. They will look at your skin under the light and make recommendations as to what to use on it, and whether or not you need to see a dermatologist. Some problems are caused by hormone-fluctuations.

Well I have this stuff called Got2be in your face. I have no idea where i got it, but you could probably find it a a near pharmacy, or grocery store. It is a srub and I just use it in the shower it works really well and I am pimple free!
