Acne medication and waxing question HELP please?

I am fifteen years old, and I have suddenly broke out in acne on my forehead. It’s not severe but proactive or any other fash washes don’t work. I’m going to the doctors but I heard that when you take acne medication you can’t wax or else your skin will rip off. I wax every few weeks, my eyebrows and upperlip, so I can’t pluck. If I use YAZ birth control that is proven to treat acne, will I be able to wax?

Well, I’m a 13 year old girl and I know that I’m at the age where I’m growing blah blah blah hahahah, but I’m getting really sick of acne…
I really only get acne on my forehead, but I’ve tried proactiv and it doesn’t work for me! I’ve tried just about everything, but proactiv is supposed to work for everyone and it didn’t… Right now I’m using zapzyt, and it’s not really working either. I have more oily than dry skin, and get it mostly on forehead and temples, but right now I’m breaking out horribly… Forehead, temples, cheeks, and jawline. It’s AWFUL and I HATE it! So do you have any recommendations for my personal self? Someone suggested the zeno blemish prevention kit or the hot spot… so I was wondering if it’s worth the money/attempt to try it…?

Ok so i have had this new kind of acne on my face for the last 5 months and it is really starting to bother me. I used to have acne on the forehead mainly but that has cleared up and now once that area cleared i have had a ton of acne on my jawline. I am 19 and i am a guy. I have heard that this kind of acne is hormonal but I am not sure how true that is and does that affect men and women or just women? The acne is terrible and it is starting to wreck my self confidence. It is so annoying because it is symmetrical. It is bad on both sides of my face which is really annoying! Right now I am using a sulfur mask 3 days a week and then i am using a neutrogena product with salycylic acid 2 times a day. I have tried basically every product you can except proactiv. Also I drink lots of water and am very active. I clean my sheets and pillow cases once a week. I am very meticulous with my face and my acne and I rarely touch it. I am at a loss because all other acne usually goes away but not this kind. Below is a link to an album I made of my face and the acne spots. The acne you see in the pics is probably the best it has been in a long time but I have spells where it gets better then all of a sudden it gets worse than ever.

If anyone has ever had similar acne please help me and tell me what you did to rid this stuff away. Right now i am up for any treatment or anything no matter the side affects. I just want this stuff gone.

ok so i was wondering if nausea,constipation,diarrhea,weight gain in my stomach,bloating in my stomach and a horrible feeling of being full,acne,anxiety,nervousness,were signs of pms? im pretty sure ive read somewhere that they are but i wanted other womens opinions…also could the bad bloating be causing me to have to pee more often? feedback would be very helpful thank you =]
also my period should be starting within the next 6 to 9 days

Question regarding birth control pills?

I just started using Ortho-Cyclen. What are some of your personal experiences with this birth control pill? Was it an effective form of pregnancy prevention? Did it clear up existing acne? I’m also concerned with the breast enlargement side effect. Any thoughts or input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was on Ortho Trycyclen for 8 years. When I got off it, I gained 40 lbs and acne on my upper back and shoulders. I can’t stand it. I went back on the pill. Now they said I have PCOS, so I started Yasmin. The acne has not gone away yet. What can I do to get rid of it on my back? For good? Sysillic acid? Any pills?

Question about Anti Psychotics and Anxiety/OCD?

I suffer from Anxiety and OCD. I need psychotherapy urgently, however in the UK there is a waiting list of 12 months or more. I have been using the local Mental Health Crisis team who visit me at my home daily but find them inexperienced and useless.

I have seen the psychiatrist a few times and they insist that i take heavy anti psychotics like Olanzapine (Zyprexa) or Qeitapine (Seroquil) as well as an anti depressants. I have taken these drugs in the past and they caused an EXTREME increase in appetite and very much slowed my metabolism. Seroquil gave me horrendous acne which left me scarred to the point that i had to spend a lot of money of surgery.

However, these doctors will not treat me unless i take both an Anti psychotic and Anti depressant. I dont mind taking the anti depressant but not the anti psychotic.

Does any one know who or where i can turn to for advice? Thanks.
LaGail R. They DONT work. I end up even more depressed on them. The answer to my problems is NOT via drugs.
If something worked but didnt destroy my body then i would take it.

When you are applying a cream, foam, wash, alcohol pad, or any other acne prevention medication do you have to use soap first and the medication second.

Would you rather have cancer OR an OFFICIAL diagnosis of:

- Tourette’s Syndrome
- ADD
- Narcolepsy
- Bipolar disorder N.O.S. (Not Otherwise Specified, meaning it’s not a “classic” case)
- OCD
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Acne (once severe, now mild but persistent over >5 years)

We all know that cancer in and of itself is one of the worst things that could ever happen, but you also have to remember that most of those disorders NEVER go away, and some are very stigmatized. Either one is capable of devastating and destroying lives, and not just those of the people who have them.

Really give this some thought before you answer it. I really would like to know what people think. I think it’s a tough question, but I could be wrong about that, and if you think I am I’d like to know why. Again, I can’t tell if this is insensitive; if it is, I’m very sorry. I mean no offense, I’m just curious.

i know that this might be a wrong section but i need help to get rid of the acne i have trouble with it im 17 now a year ago i had a lot of that stuff all over my face but now i dont get it much often but when it appears it on the right side of my mouth but now im getting it much often on mt neck ( on the sides and on the back) and in my arms

i was using proactive ( for almost a year) but it didnt helped me

are there anyother good acne products???
