I have been using Retin-A Micro and, before that, Tazorac retinoids on my skin to control my acne. They do a pretty good job of that, but I’m hoping they pull double-duty with aging prevention. I know they’re used to correct skin that’s already wrinkled, but is it also a preventive measure? I’m only 22 and am religious about sunblock, but it would be nice to know the retinoids are also staving off wrinkling.

what i use…

1) in the shower i use a neutrogena black/whitehead prevention soap (orange one)
2) neutrogena WAVE thingy after shower
3) dermalogica “clean start” all over clear spray
4) demalogica “clean start” PM overnight acne eliminator
5) neutrogena on the spot acne medicine

i use these in pretty large amounts. i still have some acne, like 2 or 3 pimples. but they annoy the hell outta me. also, i have a lot of little, acne scars. i use all these products all over my face (on the spots are ALL over t-zone), and it seems to stop most of it. do i use too much? am i drying out my skin?

ok there is this MASSIVE red sit on my cheek.. impossible to pop, ive tried everything. it doesnt want to go away. so i took this Clean&Clear stuff i have that dries up oil on your face and held it in this spot. it stung a little and now looks white so im assuming it dried it up, but since it wasnt on my whole face, should i worry about more acne appearing?

im a guy and have some acne scars on my cheeks, from 1 to 10 scale of looks how much would it take away? be honest or else your answer is no good

Ugh. Seriously. I think I need to go to a dermatologist or something… I’m 27… what am I doing wrong??!! I always have acne… whether it’s just one pimple on my chin or a few and some small ones on my forehead…and if on the rare occassion I don’t have any, I have scars!! What am I doing wrong?
What’s a quick fix to get rid of them?

Anyone recommend any acne fighting/prevention medicine?

I know it can cause me diabetes and some other problems.

I just eat too much chocolate. I heard eating chocolate can cause a massive outbreak of acne, is it true?

I’ve had acne for a few years now and i think its all gone. now i just have these scars from picking at them. are there any home remedies or cheap products i can buy to get rid of them and wont dry out or make my skin really oily??

I’m on the Burt’s Bees website right now but it doesn’t tell me the price of their natural acne solution kit. Does anyone know the price?

Also, do I have to order this product, or is it available in stores?
And if you’ve tried it, does it work well?

I have a few big zits here and there, a lot of blackheads on my forehead, on my nose, and a few on my chin, plus my skin gets really red. My friend recently got acne medication and it’s helped her skin so much, she hardly has any pimples at all. However, I’m worried about his cost. About how much would an acne med. cost that would cure the things I listed above?
