How can I get rid of my acne and red marks?

I have consistently been getting pimples on my chin for a while. I have had a few on my cheeks, but my chin is horrible. I get new pimples every couple days. Sometimes big ones, sometimes small ones. But whats worse is the red marks that are left behind. I tried Clearasil pads, Sea Breeze Astingent, AcneFree, and currently using Neutrogena Wash (which shows some improvement in prevention). Howcan I prevent new pimples, and more importantly get rid of the ugly red marks all over left by previous ones?

My acne used to fade rather quickly without leaving a mark, and then one day, I had a horrible breakout. I thought the acne would eventually disappear, but it just left an ugly brown mark. From then on, it seems that whenever I breakout, it leaves a mark. It is eventually fading, but I want to know how it happened and what I can do to prevent it. I have been skipping sunscreen during the summer, could that be why? Also, my body acne still don’t leave a mark. Could it be something I use?

I recently went through a homemade regimen of mine and I am glad to say I am pimple free. NOW however, I have the old acne marks on my cheeks and new ones here and there. My skin also seems somewhat uneven in texture. What can I do?
