I’m 16 and I have clear, tanned skin on my face except I feel insecure when I go out without makeup on because i have acne scars from when I was younger. How can I hide them with makeup and still have a fresh-looking face? I don’t want it to look like I wear a lot of makeup.

I have some old acne scars on my face and I need to know a good makeup that will cover them. I currently use CoverGirl but its like a liquid/powder in a compact thingy. It makes my skin look really oily. I don’t like it.
Can someone tell me a different makeup to try that will cover scars really well and not make my skin look oily?

i saw some pics of alicia keys today.
so many people can be so cruel.
i mean the chick has acne.
we all go through it. it isn’t her fault.
some worse than others.
i myself have the same skin issues as her.
i too have acne and i’m a light black skinned woman.
but when i saw the comments. i thought just how mean our society is.
we cake on the makeup to be approved of, with the skin conditions we have, from all the stress in the world,
and then when we wear the makeup they say we look like clowns. what a messed up society we are in. you can’t please people.

Women spend thousands of dollars to create a flawless face. Yet faulty or uninformed uses of moisturizers and makeup can lead to inexplicable breakouts for women.
The two key symbols to remember when applying makeup and moisturizers are cotton and the feather. Cotton symbolizes the need to use clean applicators when applying makeup. The feather represents light application of makeup and moisturizers.

I want to buy a foundation at a drugstore not a department store so it’s less expensive. What brand of Foundation is good for adult acne and will give me good coverage but not break me out more?
