Like, If the guy is sweet and nice, funny, calm…just that general great personality, but has a little mild-moderate acne…is that a total turn off to girls/women? Does the acne cancel out everything else?

I’m a 20 year old woman and I’ve had acne since I was in 5th grade. It just won’t go away and I’ve tried everything (including pro-active). I’ve been okay the past few years in accepting it and I was becoming more confident, but the past few weeks it has really been bothering me again. I feel like no one can see past it and that that is all they see when they look at me. It also bothers me that I couldn’t be more beautiful for my boyfriend. I just want to know how you all think when you see someone with acne or how you feel yourself if you have it.

Hey Everyone! I didn’t know where eles to go, So I came here to ask. I have a problem with my Acne, I used to get it just around my jaw line, and chin area, then a few here and there on my face randomly.I dont know if it is from stress or not, I quit drink Soda, and increased my water intake alot.. I always just washed my face wih a washcloth and soap a night and mornings, I would use Clean and Clear Persita Gel which is a 10% benz treatment. I just wouldnt break out, still get pimples and such but not alot. Lately, I have been using Clearasil Daily Face wash, then drying my face, and applying “Neutrogena On the Spot Acne cream” Thing is after starting that a week ago, my face got way worse, breaking out all over the jaw line, chin, and towards the neck. Ive used that Acne tool to pop the pimple then wash my face, but it doesnt seem to help at all. I am LOST on what to use, and As a guy kinda hard on what to do!! Please Help Me!! Thanks Everyone

I don’t know of anyone who wants to try this. It just popped into my head a minute ago when I was answering a question. I guess the real core question would be is there a difference between the causes of acne in men and women and what are they?

Do girls mind that everything about guy is fine (some might say “hot”) except he has acne and acne scars on his back? not too bad, but enough to be seen.

my borther is 15 and he wants an acne treatment. what acne treatment is the best for guys? and i mean one that isnt expenciveand not the Proactive.

I am a fairly decent looking guy (I am rated a 7 on hotornot) but I have really bad acne on my chest and this makes me extremely self conscious. I wanted to know how much of a turn off chest acne is to women. Are women completely grossed out if a guy has chest acne or is it not too big of a deal? I’m still a virgin and am terrified if/when I take off my shirt the girl is going to have second thoughts and leave, is this a legitimate concern? Will women not want to sleep with me because of my acne?

I am worried because I dont have any pinples on my face and that might turn off a girl becuase they might think its feminine? Is this true?
