I heard a lot of home remedies saying that lemons and tomatoes can gradually get rid of acne scars. Is this true and which one would most likely give me better and faster results?

I have increasingly bad skin, and I found a great prescribed acne medication, but you have to be on birth control to use it because it will seriously deform a baby. To get birth control, do they have to do an exam? I’m not active, and I’m not irregular. I thought they just asked my friend some questions then prescribed her to it. Please answer Thanks!

I’ve never got acne before or had a problem, maybe occasionally a pimple or too. I’m a 25 year old male and now have deep, swelling , cystic acne around my chin area. It’s only like 2 or 3 but there big and they hurt. What am I doing wrong? I was my face with dial anti bacterial soap twice a day? Could it be that? Or could it be that I’m using benzoyl peroxide too much to clean the skin and its irrating the skin and causing swelling. The last thing I can think about is that I sometimes like to try to pop the pimples around my chin and the chin area may just be real tendor and then I cause cystic acne? What do you think?

Right now get no sunlight to the areas where i have body acne. Chest, back, upper arms and forearms. Would tanning help with the acne?

I went to the dermatologist 2 years ago and she insisted that I take a huge bottle of these pills that she pescribed to me as opposed to a certain cream I was asking for because I hate taking pills. Before I go back and see a different dermatologist, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Laser isn’t an option at the moment. And please dont tell me Clean and Clear, Clearasil, Murad, ProActive will do the trick because they only treat “regular” pimples as opposed to cystic acne and I’ve tried all of them
…The pills that the 1st dermatologist pescribed also interfered with my bc pills, which was another reason why I decided not to take them anymore.
