Hello everyone! I start a new acne treatment. This is my third day using Retin-A, and next week I will start taking Aldactone, which is an Anti-androgen. I will keep you updated on the changes I experience. Feel free to post your comments. Thank you for watching! =)

I want to know the benefits to the pill. I am thirteen, and don’t need protection. I want to know more about it’s other uses. The ones I think I know of are as follow:

treats and prevents acne
(and my friend claims it helps her with her period, helps to calm her hormones, and possibly is helping with her anxiety and stress)

I have increasingly bad skin, and I found a great prescribed acne medication, but you have to be on birth control to use it because it will seriously deform a baby. To get birth control, do they have to do an exam? I’m not active, and I’m not irregular. I thought they just asked my friend some questions then prescribed her to it. Please answer Thanks!

i am 13 rs old and my periods are just offal, they are 6 to 8 days long and sometimes 12, and i miss them for a couple months and then they come back. they are heavy and come with cramps, headaches, bloating, dizzyness, depression, anxiety, acne like pizza, and feelin like crap! so i asked my mom if i could go to the doctor and get birth control for those reasons, but she says only if they are really irregular. so i have kept a calender, todays my 5th day and its still coming. how irregular do you think they have to be so i can get medication? and what kind are out there that can make them lighter or come less often, and help my symptoms? and is there other medications that i could use that arent birth control, because its not that my mom really cares about me having irregular periods it because she doesnt want me to be taking birth control unless i have too. please help and thanx!!!
