not drinking soda is the best way to get rid of acne
Try OXY products. Some people swear by them. And they are not too expensive:)
don’t eat oily food like potato chips and try using clean and clear facial scrub it removes all the dirt and oil that can cause ance, it worked for me.
find products that contain
Tea Tree Oil. It helped me
a lot, and I don’t even have to
use it everyday. I admit that it
smell is kinda strong, but you’ll
get used to it, and it’s worth it too.
well my m8 recently went to the doctor about it ( he had like mild acne nothing serious). the doc gave him some cream or somthing and it like totaly cleared up after a few days. i guess they dont sell it in shops cos they wouldn’t make a profit from it. but if the chemist stuff not workin for ya you could try get hold of some of this,, im not sure what it is called though sry

I’ve started to use a program/kit called “Exposed.” It has not only chemicals in it but natural ingredients to help get rid of acne. I also used proactiv for a while and it didn’t help. But the Exposed is helping better. I would recommend it. I’ll provide you with the link to check it out. If you don’t wanna spend that much, I would look into the oxy line of things. I hear good things about them.
go to the GP, he will prescribe antibiotics like monocycline, they stop the bacteria that causes acne. all these cosmetics deal with the symptoms and not the cause. he will also prescribe something to apply to your skin that will open up your pores and reduce the inflammation. after the pimple are gone then you can think of using these cosmetics to get rid of the cosmetic imperfections caused by the acne.
I suffer from adult acne and like you I’ve tried many products. The problem is that most of those products are based on the assumption that acne is an oil, dirt, bacteria clogged pore problem and the truth is it isn’t. I know this for a fact as a cosmetologist I know about skin and hair. Acne is hormonal, specifically testosterone. Testosterone also causes excessive body hair and baldness. There is a chemical called DHT Dihidrotestosterone. It occurs when the testosterone passes out the pores and hair follicles and mixes with the oils and skin cells. There is a product made for thinning hair that can literally break up DHT and have a marked improvement in thinning hair and acne as I have tested this theory on myself. The product line is a professional salon grade shampoo line called Nioixin (not rogaine!) It is a three step regimen to reduce hair loss and stimulate hair growth. It is a shampoo that unclogs follicles of the DHT followed by a conditioner that moisturises without clogging pores and follicles. The third step is the MOST important step, apply directly to the scalp and it really clears out the build up of DHT and stimulates hair growth. A while ago I decided to test a theory of using the 3rd step on my face since the acne culprit is DHT. I just lightly pat on a small amount everywhere (avoid eyes of course) and a bit more in problem areas. It worked like a charm I was dumbfounded. The other causes of acne are irritation and lack of sufficient moisture. I use very gentle cleansers and avoid scrubbing my face that makes it worse. I also avoid contact from my hands to my face (hands carry lots of bacteria and oil). I have switched from cream moisturisers to complexion mists so my hands don’t touch my clean face. Burt’s Bees makes moisturising mist sprays for all skin types. Clinique also makes one but it’s pricier and it’s not organic. The Burt’s Bees products use essential oils and extracts and are wonderful. Look for Burt’s Bees brand in the organic or health food section of your local market. So step one use gentle cleanser such as cetaphil, or oil of lay daily facial towels (just wet them and it foams up into a very gentle cleanser and is a disposable washcloth basically). Go to a hair salon and get Nioxin “Scalp Treatment #4″ it comes in a foam pump use a small amount and pat on your face. Then use a spray moisturizer and try not to touch your hands to your face. I’ve had adult acne for 10 years now and finally it’s under control. It really works my skin has been clear now for months. Try it and tell me if it works for you too I sometimes wonder that in fact all the acne treatments are completely ineffective.
