I need a acne solution besides accutane?
im only 15 and i would like to avoid using accutane. however i need a acne treatment that is preferably a pill prescription. even if the medication only works while i use it, as apposed to accutane which works forever.
ive used clean and clear, proactive, and oxy, they seem to kind of work, but my skin still has a lot of acne, just less.

Ask your dermitologist about antibiotics. I take them, and I’m happy with them. I still break out sometimes, but never too bad. Accutane is probably better, but I hear it has some side effects sometimes that aren’t that great.
DON’T TAKE ACCUTANE EVER! It will bring out every impurity you have in your skin all at once. Your skin will be horrible for months and your acne will come back later in life. This is what I do…(don’t forget if you stop your routine your acne will come back & stick to it for over 30 days to see results)
Face wash-salyic acid -I use DDF Foam wash
Exfolitate-glycolic acid(every other day if dry skin)- I use MD Formulation Face & body scrub
Treat- Benzol peroxide-I use DDF Treatment
Lotion any kind that has spf that dosent clog pores-I use MD formulation antioxidant but I have dry skin
Most products just have one main ingredient and you need this combo because one kills bacteria and one unclogs pores so this works best.
These will be around $100, if you can’t spend that then look for products that have the main ingredients I listed.
Use Clean and Clear
Clearosol
Proactive
or see you dermatologist for a prescription acne treatment
There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.

Or you can buy the whole container for $160, I believe.
My sister and cousin have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up.
I hope this helps. =)
I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
i would not recommend using antibiotics. it is very easy for the body to become immune to them and will most likely cause problems in the long run. i usually recommend that people try birth control pills or spironolactone for a hormonal treatment to acne, but i’m assuming that you’re a guy, so that wouldn’t be an option for you. there aren’t any other oral medications that i know of. if you would be interested in a topical treatment, you could ask your doctor about getting a retinoid such as retin-a micro, tazorac, differin, or epiduo. if you would something over-the-counter, you might want to try this regimen: http://www.acne.org/regimen.html it seems to work for a lot of people and you can find the necessary products at walmart, walgreens, etc. good luck getting your skin to clear.
