Ive had acne since I was a teenager and now I suffer with anxiety and Doctors seem to think thats why it breaks out but I use clean and clear products and dove unscented soap and it doesn’t seem to help at all.

Pro-Activ for your face, neutrogena skinID for your body…works wonders. Good luck!
stop smoking meth!!!!
STOP PICKING THEM
buy proactive or something
try going to a skin specialist, it will cost money if your insurance won’t pay for it (it should though) but they might be able to help you.
Show me your breast.
just stop picking and try using rubbing alcohol to clean out the pores i still have acne but i dont have to pick as much and also dont pick until it reaches the top thats what causes scars!
to help with the picking, cut your nails back as far as you can so you wont be able to scratch even if you wanted to.
Topical creams deal with bacterial acne. It sounds like you’re acne is from stress, anxiety and hormones.
You can either wait it out (that what Im doing, I’m almost 17 and now I only have acne in the chin area), or you can try oral medication. I wouldn’t though, I was on minocycline for 2 months, and after a while my body beccame immume to it and I got the acne back.
Try drinking lots of water and have omega 3 fatty acid tablets, those really help. Raw veggies and fish. Maybe even try some detox system to flush toxins out of your body.
For the scars try a product called bio-oil, this might reduce them, or a cocoa butter might help too, although I wouldn’t use this on youyr face if it’s prone to acne. I would advise you not to pick at your skin, but that doesn’t reeally help you. You might need to ask a doctor for retin-a cream for the acne, it can reduce it. Keep cleansing, toning and moisturizing daily with a good product that suits your skin type. Good luck.
Pro-active is not the best product. It is expensive and only works while you use it (and some people it doesn’t work and burns into the skin), once you stop using it the problem will come back just as bad. Don’t be roped in by advertising and celebrities, all they do is add price to a product, they probably don’t even use it themselves. Any good pharmacy skin regime would be just as good and less damaging on skin
Try going to a docter and if there is still nothing you can do then try to look up on the possotive side as negativity can cause stress and more acne. The mind is powerfull and if you think you are going to get better you probabaly will.
You should see a psychiatrist if it’s a disorder where you can’t stop picking at it.
Don’t use those products. They are useless products designed to attract the attention of teenagers and acne-sufferers in general, and they don’t do anything. Ask your doctor if he could set you up with Minocycline, it worked really well for me and I occasionally suffer from mild anxiety
you need to see a dr.about your anxiety.i had the same problem.i am older than you and now have some pock marks on my face and breasts.go now and find out why your nervous.
My Mom had that since she was a teen too. Theres really nothing you can do about it except My mom just uses pro-active and that usually sort of helps it.
God taught me never give up because there is always hope. So I hope you do the same!
First of all, I would definitely not recommend soap. Soap is alkaline and has been known to clog pores. Our skin is slightly acidic, the best way to treat our skin is to use something with similar pH level. So using soap would irritate our skin and might lead to dryness and/or breakout.
Second, are you under treatment for your anxiety? If that’s the problem that causes you to breakout, then you need to deal with it. No matter what skincare product you are using for acne, nothing works better than fixing the root of your problem.
You need to find out, what makes you anxious? Is that because of acne or something else? If your anxiety comes from acne and that makes you breakout more, then you need to stop worrying about it. Because I have great product to help you with acne.
Here are some acne product that has worked well for myself and my clients. I hope you find them beneficial to you as well.
• Timeless Prescription® F.A.C.E.™ Pads – contains enzymes to emulsify suspended body oils, grease deposits and other contaminants. These little enzyme pads help reduce the host environment that acne and acne-causing bacteria normally grow and it won’t irritate your skin. The drug stores acne pads contain either salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide that only provide a temporary solution and might lead to excess dryness or irritate your skin.
I love this stuff, I have very oily skin. I can’t go anywhere without it!

• Timeless Prescription® Anti Blemish Lotion – hep reduce the appearance of pimple overnights, many of my clients love this product! Just dip it with cotton tip and apply on the pimple and go to sleep, next day, it will feel so much smaller!

• Timeless Prescription 3 step acne care system – That one is pretty good at controlling acne bacteria. Because it releases stabilized and time-released benzoyl peroxide which maintains its potency over time and also moisturize and heal your problematic skin . Unlike Proactiv, which doesn’t provide a healing solution thus lead to very sensitive and drying skin.

But with benzoyl peroxide, the bacteria might get used to it after a while. So it might not be a permanent solution. with acne, you have to find out what the root problem is because it could be internal or external.
• Timeless Prescription® PrevaDerm™ – some acne are due to internal problem like digestion or hormone. Timeless Prescription® PrevaDerm™ is an anti-finflammatory and antioxidant product that support the immune system and enhance the body’s natural defenses against acne causing bacteria. Unlike prescribed drugs such as Accutane which might cause stomach or skin irritation and/or other side effects, PrevaDerm is a safe supplement to use if you are not allergic to milk. However, you would need to take it for at least 2 months to see improving result. Some people see result faster than others depending on the individuals.

• Digestive enzyme – Some acne is due to digestion problem. Taking digestive enzyme might help in that area. If you have constipation problem as well, your acne might be a digestive problem. I would recommend the Isotonix line for enzyme due to its superior absorption rate and it also contains probiotics, which is good bacteria to maintain your colon health. I have many customers seeing improvement on acne with a good cleanse of colon and digestive trace.

If the acne is external problem, you will see result faster when using the above skincare product. If it’s internal problem, don’t expect it will go away in a few days. Unfortunately, there isn’t any magic bullet in the world for acne. Please give it at least 2 months, and be sure to keep it consistently! Because healing takes time.
Also, I would recommend Bliss, Anti-Stress Formula for your anxiety.

It’s primary benefits are:
• Helps body adapt to stress
• Promotes relaxation without drowsiness
• Maintains healthy levels of both serotonin and dopamine
• Helps enhance and stabilize mood
If you are under treatment for anxiety, consult with your doctor first before taking any supplementation.
Good luck with you! Always think optimistic! That’s the 1st thing I would recommend to any of my clients! God taught us never give up because there is always hope! Cheer up and trust me, you will overcome your acne problem if you think positive!
