whatever you do don’t touch it! Put hydro peroxide on it to dry it up then leave it alone! If you touch if, the bacteria will spread and you’ll get puss scabs that will ooze, it won’t be pretty. Don’t put toothpaste either. it’ll just irritate it. (experience it made it soooo much worse) if it bothers you to the point where you check to see if the swelling has gone down or not every 30seconds, put a band-aid over. One that can allow oxygen circulation though. Then let mother nature do her job.
If it gets really really bad or worse, consult a dermatologist. They can give you a cortisone shot that will reduce the swelling.
Good luck! and don’t worry, it will go away eventually. I know what you’re going through.
Acne can be devastating to anyone`s self-esteem and difficult to treat, regardless of whether you are a teen or an adult. However, regular acne pales in comparison to cystic acne.
Aside from the obvious of eating healthy and avoiding junk food, consider taking vitamin B and baking soda scrubs. I also put a bit of salus spray on baking soda and it works remarkably well. Try it. I get the spray from ebay and it lasts forever if refrigerated.
