How do I prevent hair from causing acne on my forehead?
whenever my hair stays my forehead, it eventually clogs the pores on my forehead and causes acne wherever my hair was touching; though I use topical acne treatment, I must wear my hear up every day and must use a hairband every night to ensure no acne forms. I think it is becuase my hair is excessively oily; how do I reduce the oil in my hair? Are there special shampoos/conditioners that would help with this problem? Thank you.

wash your hair and dont let your hair stay in your face
First, its not a very good idea to reduce oil in your hair, because oil is what makes your hair shiny and healthy.
But if you must, shampoo takes oil out of your hair and conditioner puts it back in. That’s why you use conditioner to put the natural oils back in your hair.
Try using only shampoo when you wash your hair and see if that helps.
Try a lot of shampoos and eventually you will find one that fits your hair perfectly.
Visit your local beauty supply store and purchase a clarifying shampoo to relieve your hair from excess oil. If your hair is really oily, then you could use this shampoo at least 2-3 times a week, and make sure you are using a professional shampoo and conditioner along with it when you don’t use the clarifying shampoo.
Good luck to ya!
Try washing your hair often, like everyday, if you don’t already.
Wellllll, you could brush some baby powder in your head, which helps to dry up the greasy oily hairs; but check this out they have it in a can that does the same thing. Its a DRY SHAMPOO.
SCHWARZKOPF BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO
Next time you go to the market look in the shampoo section, it comes in a green can (like a hairspray can) for about $2.00 or so. Use it before your hair gets to greasy. Shake the can before each use, spray and leave it in for a minute to settle as a powder (you’ll see it working) then brush hair properly making sure you get all the dusty-powdery particles out. OR instead you can message it into your scalp for any itchness and it feels good. It gives you the clean look and stops any itching to boot. Product works for 3 -4 days.
Wash your hair between applications to insure clean hair. As far as conditioner, just skip conditioner and use after every other shampoo.
It might help to apply the conditioner (about a dime size or smaller) to your wet hair after getting out of shower and leave in.
