Hi I’m 15 and I get bad PMS Symptoms….Help please ladies?
OK Well I have 2 weeks until my period starts. (Around 13 days starting from yesterday.)
Yesterday and today I have had some trouble relaxing to sleep. I become increasingly anxious and worried about things I would not usually think much of. My problems become very very magnified.
I have been feeling very shaky and weak and light-headed starting from yesterday, and this morning when I woke up I couldn’t breathe properly – No matter how many deep breaths I took in, I just felt there just wasn’t enough Oxygen going in. (Felt like I was holding my breath!)
Then, I suddenly felt really nauseas and had to run to the bathroom and I ended up throwing up a lot of acidic water . I felt better after that.
Then later on in the afternoon, I really felt in a slump. I just lay on the sofa miserable and had no motivation to get up or get myself dressed. I haven’t even had the motivation to shower myself in 2 days. I don’t know if you classify it as depression, but I really didn’t want to get up, get dressed, get out or do anything. I just lay on the sofa staring blankly at the television. I am also able to cry at anything. Even just talking about issues that are only slightly sensitive make me well-up.
So ladies, did you ever get any of these symptoms when you were my age? Or do you even have some of them now?
Please don’t diagnose me with anything. I did not ask this question for unwanted classifications upon myself. I just want someone to empathise with me and share how I feel with the experiences I’m going through.
By the way, I started Birth control pills around 6 months ago due to a sudden outburst of hormonal imbalance and acne ,I was prescribed.

I am 15 as well, and sometimes around my period I get those kind of feelings. I can get mad easily, feel lazy, and cry at certain things. Your hormones are just imbalanced and periods put over stress on your body. It’s natural to feel tired, nausea’s, etc. I would advise you to take a midol, and take a hot shower. For the last two days I have had bad cramps ( I’m on my period right now), and it works if you take an aspirin and then take a hot shower. By the time your shower is over, the cramps are gone. Plus the heat from the shower relaxes your muscles, which is why cramps occur. You need to lay on a heating pad for 10 minutes and go take a shower. Paint your nails, go take a 15 minute walk, etc. Do something that will get you off the couch and moving. I know you feel lazy, and feel like crap but you still need to take a shower and get your daily things done. Girl I know how you feel right now, this is my 3rd day on this stupid period, but I’m glad it’s almost over.
