Chest hair causes acne?
Chest hair causes acne
I read that oil from you hair can lead to acne. I have some on my face and started to get it on my chest. I started to shave my chest and it goes away without using any kind of cream. When it grows back, I start to get it on my chest again. Do you think the chest hair is causing this.
Acne there when I don’t shave gone when I do.
Guys what would you do.

maybe ur chest hair is oily and thats causing you to break out?
I agree with the first guy. I get acne around my hair line so I know what you’re talking about. I just try to keep my face clean. So I think you should try to use some astringent on your chest unless you want to keep shaving.
Whether or not you shave it should be the same. Oil grows around hair follicles which causes the acne. A likely cause is that the hair attracts more oil when it is grown in. I’ve never gotten a pimple anywhere but my face but some of my friends that get body acne swear by Neutrogena body wash. You should also by an exfoliate and exfoliate twice a week because dead skin cells clog up your pores. Good luck.
You might try changing your hair and body washes. Sometime a product will cause the pimples, especially if you are getting them along a hairline or on your chest. My husband has had the same problem and it really improved when he changed his products. Check out Arbonne…that’s what he uses.
