I had a few breakouts as a teenager, but Im 33 years old now and have acne…. still! I have used different name brand cleansers and washes and even Ivory soap on my face. Toothpaste, Asprin, in small blocks consistently, nothing works. I have stopped wearing makeup and found it seems worse then. My husband told me the cleansers and face washes I use once to twice daily, are only going to make it worse. Any advice. I have tried these things through out the years. So, Help… please!

I have adult acne, sensitive skin, and a little rosacea. I have tried so many products over the years from teen years to my early 20′s and I’m at a lost of what is going to work for me as I’ve noticed my skin has changed from teen acne to adult acne. I know benzoyl peroxide makes the acne worst, I know from pro-active products. Salicylic acid doesn’t work either also tried and made my skin worst. Iam now using Philosophy line with Hydrogen peroxide for adult acne, but I’m trying to be patient, but the only results I see is that there are more aggressive break outs. I hear that Gycohlic Acid is suppose to be good for acne, but I need serious help: I have a huge event in the begining of Oct.

What’s the best way to handle adult acne?

I’m using Proactive it helps but I still get a few pimples. I want completley clear skin! I’m 32 so I can’t use teenager products, they dry out my skin. Help! Thanks for any real answers!

Whats the best way to get rid of adult acne?

I am 26 and still have problems with my complexion. I would prefer answers from those that have tried products that worked for them… thanks.

I get the acne on my face and jaw. I used completely different shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser while traveling. Other than that, I ate the same and was just as stressed out as usual.

How does one get rid of adult acne?

washing the face in the shower doesn’t work, neither does using a facial cleanser like neutrogena, etc.

Please don’t mention Proactiv, because that didn’t do anything but take my money!

I am now in my 30′S , nothing has worked, I wasted money on dermatologists proactiv ,murad and accutane … Help!!
