When you’re a teen, you get acne caused by hormones which will go away as you reach a certain stage of physical maturity. If you have acne into your twenties or later, the problem is less likely hormonal and more likely caused by a variety of other factors, like diet, lifestyle, hygiene, and daily habits.

I have the same problem, and so does my daughter, so I got some cetaphil thinking since it is gentle and all it would be good for both of us. I havent seen any improvment at all in using it for a month. I now have started using an oil cleansing method and seeing some relief…who would think in my 30′s Id be dealing with this!

Go to the pharmacy and ask your pharmacist for the pill that treats acne from the inside out. She might have a pH or some other chemical imbalance that is causing the acne if topical medications don’t work. When is the last time she’s had a physical with full blood work-up?
