Adult Acne Archives

I have had acne since I was 13. It did go away for awhile but recently it has come back really bad. I wash my face and back everyday but it seems like its just getting worse.

I do not have a lot of money to buy acne treatments, so I am wondering if anyone knows of any good at home treatments.

I’m a adult woman who is having more trouble with acne now than when I was a teen. Looking for answers what cleansing system to use and I have heard of L’Oreal products wondering if they work

how do you get rid of adult acne?

without over-drying or getting too oily……..over the counter is so abrasive!

i have had 2 babies and acne returns each time. only gets better in pregnancy. tried over the years many antibiotics, the pill, creams, chinese medicine, homeopathy, all failed. acne returns when stop.dont want to take roaccutane cos too many side effects. tried evening primrose oil – made acne worse.

I don’t have a major acne problem but reocurring black or whiteheads may decide to show their ugly heads. Someone must know of some products that work, that doesn’t cost $100.00. But if it does, I’m willing to pay.
I’ve tried everything over the counter, from mild cleansers and toners, facial masks, acne pills to ordering products online and thru catologs. They may work for a short time or not at all or it may make the problem worse. I drink lots and lots of water everyday, love vegtables and try to stay away from too much sugar. I know that any impurities within will come out but with all the water I drink, I’m not sure anymore.

I will be 33 in a few weeks and recently my breasts have been hurting constantly. I have also been getting acne but have never had a problem with my skin before. I do not believe that I am pregnant so what else could it be?

whats the best way to rid adult acne?

I have been hearing that the best way is to detox your self from the insided out. Has anyone tried Colon Cleansing? And does it really work like some people say it does?

I’ve been told that adult acne is a different kind of acne than the acne kids get in high school. How do you know for sure if you have it and why is it different/why does it need a different type of treatment?
