is there any makeup that is without oil or wont cause acne or atleast not as much as others?

My mother and I suffer from severe acne on our face, hardly anywhere else. We have tried proactiv and other skin products and do not work. what are some foods and methods to help me with our acne? Also, does toothpaste cause acne irritation to swell down?

I realized that in the past, whenever my appetite disappears due to emotional overload (sometimes weeks at a time) and I don’t really eat… my acne goes away. My skin clears up and looks healthier. It must be your diet, you say? The thing is I eat pretty healthily overall. No white flours or refined anything, except candy. I always eat candy. I’ve always (and still think) that my acne is primarily due to hormonal imbalances, but without health insurance to help fix that, do you think sugar is the culprit?

I have a pretty clear face, i get an occasional pimple or two once in a while but for the most part it’s acne free. But i have a huge problem with acne on the back of my arms and on the top of my back. It’s really disgusting and embarrassing when i wear tank tops or short sleeves. What even causes acne to develop on your arms and back? How can i get rid of it?

I know that smoking causes acne due to nicotene and tobacco deteriorating skin cells. However, I like to smoke one a day just after a stressful days school or if some issues are going on. I already have moderate acne on my face so would smoking one a day cause it to worsen? Please do not write “Don’t smoke.” or anything of that sort. I know the consequences and feel the relief I get off of one a day is worth it.

me and my cousin are in a disagreement about this fact. I know that it actually is proven not true, that chocolate causes acne. However i do realize i could be mistaken so i was trying to find more proof by internet. Yahoo answers seemed the easiest. Chest hair causes acne
I read that oil from you hair can lead to acne. I have some on my face and started to get it on my chest. I started to shave my chest and it goes away without using any kind of cream. When it grows back, I start to get it on my chest again. Do you think the chest hair is causing this.

I wash my back just like the rest of my body and still get back acne randomly. What causes this? I’ve even used my acne face wash on my back and it hasn’t helped. I’ve wondered if it’s caused by my shampoo, but I’ve changed shampoo and that doesn’t help. Is there a special wash for your back to get rid of this?

Also which foods should I avoid to prevent the acne from getting worse?
