When you are applying a cream, foam, wash, alcohol pad, or any other acne prevention medication do you have to use soap first and the medication second.

Have A Good Day!!!
yes. it is reccommened that u wash your face with an anti bacterial soap and lather your face or the certain area for 20-30 secs, then apply the cream or pads.
You definitely use soap first. The first rule of thumb for most effectively cleaning anything is to remove the outermost larger particles first. This allows for deeper and more preventative cleaning afterwards.
If you have a problem with acne. I use proactive, and it works great. My set, which, with shipping and tax costs about $45, lasts me 4 months. To me, that is definitely worth having clear skin. It feels good and looks good too. It’s a good cleanser for anyone who doesn’t have acne either. It makes the skin look real healthy. Good luck.
If you have sensitive skin, though, ask the doctor what type of soap to use. If you use the wrong one, it could dry your face out and wreak havoc on your acne problem, which would be counter-productive.
I use Safe Guard, the “beige” colored one.
