struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://acnehomesolution.com/index.html that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

many men and women have experience reaction to Benzoyl peroxide on initial use. some get used to it and their skin adjusts, but other keep getting worse and have to stop the treatment. for those who stop, salicylic acid is a better alternative. some resort to natural medications.

When I was younger I had bad acne too. I still break out once in a awhile and I'm in my 40's. If you want to stay away from medication, witch hazel works really well. Use cotton balls or something like that to put it on. You find it in the pharmacy section. Also, you might want to watch what you are eating. Stay away from greasy foods, fried foods (use pan spray with no oil). mayonaise, butter or margarine, oils, nuts, etc. for awhile till you can figure out what is making you break out.

I started a topical antibiotic two weeks ago and it seemed as though all the pimples came to the surface, so it did seem worse for the first two weeks, now though, it seems to be clearing up. I also am taking oral antibiotics which help with the redness and swelling. Good luck.

It depends. If you are using antibiotics to control acne and the staph bacteria it should not get worse before it gets better as the antibiotics should be helping get the staph bacteria under control. As for the other meds I would not think it should get much worse. If yours is getting worse with medication then call your doc and discuss this with him.
